Due to prolonged power outage, some of our services have been affected. The following is a list with ETA of affected services:

Grinder – All servers down. ETA: 2 days to restore server files. No rollback is anticipated.
File Server – Down. ETA: Late tonight.

All other servers are located elsewhere so they are unaffected.

The recent update to our web site has caused the forums to be down for a while. The forums are now back to normal. Please report if you are still having issue with the forums or see anything abnormal.

Happy new year everyone! (well, actually, some of us are still waiting for the Chinese new year…)

We have started the new year with some updates. Here goes:

Site:

• Minor updates (too minor to report). We do plan to make some noticeable changes in the near future. Please stay tuned.

IRC:

• RSS feed announcements have been moved to the #feeds channel.
• IRC games such as our infamous Black Jack have been moved to the #games channel.
• Some of the bots may have their features transferred to another bot. This is to ensure that all the bots will have all the resources available to handle requests.

Grinder:

• A new server is still being worked on and tested. Only critical updates will be included on the current server. Once the new server is ready, expect a flood of updates.
• We do not have any plan to close the server down, so do not feel that you will lose all your work on the server. Even though the game is aging, we hope to see and obtain more updates soon.

The patch server is now back online. You may get onto the server normally without needing to bypass the patch server anymore. Sorry for the inconvenience.

On a side note, we are still in the process of moving the server to a different computer (as the latest server code has not been building on our OS/platform for months). I’ll let you guys know when the transition will take place in advance. We will do our best to minimize the downtime.

There was a problem where many of the page links on the web site are directed back to the main home page. This issue has been fixed. It was not meant to be a joke for 09/09/09. Sorry for the inconveniences.

Location: Meet at Windy’s Cave. Players will be teleported.
